1-Because it was his way of trying of strengthening their bond, he really wanted to be close to them again and he was really trying.

2-It must has been really frightening for him because he was accustomed to his old culture and they where growing in a modern part of the world with a totally different culture and way of life. And even more he did not know how to approach to his children because he did not understand the things they where into, like sports and videogames.

3-The author probably felt odd teaching her father to bowl because usually parents are the ones who teach their children and not the other way around, and that does not feels natural. I personally had to teach my parents to use the computer. It felt weird at first but I soon understood that they where born in a different time and that they where not used to this technology.

Essay:

A Better Relationship Whit My Grandfather

           

            I would like to establish a better relationship with my grand father. I once

was pretty close to him and visited him often, but with time we drifted apart and even more when he moved to de United States. I would like to better our relationship because as I’ve seen in some families grandparents have a great relationship with their grandkids, take them to the park, fishing or just spend time together. I did not have such things with my grandfather.

            Some ways I could better our relationship are: by spending more time with him, paying him more visits, trying to get together and go fishing which is something that we both enjoy very much. Or going on road trips with him and the close members of our family.

            From this experience we could get some rewards. If we better our relationship, we could get along way much better. If we get along better we could enjoy from more fishing trips or road trips, and we would enjoy each other much better and take the most out of the time we’ve got have together. Having said all this I will probably make the approach.
